Creating a team composition for Xinyan inGenshin Impactcan be quite tricky. If players use the Liyue Rockstar as the damage dealer, they’ll soon realize that her Element is awkward for the job. As Xinyan is a Physical unit, players have to have a Cryo and Electro character to help trigger Superconduct (the main Elemental reaction for Physical DPS). But as Xinyan is Pyro, that means two slots in the party will be filled immediately.

This highly limits the number of possible compositions for her, where players can only use Xinyan as a Physical DPS or support for Physical units. For both roles, here are some recommendations for Xinyan’s team composition inGenshin Impact.
Sub-DPS: Raiden Shogun, Xinyan
Supports: Raiden Shogun, Xinyan, Bennett
Without a doubt, this is the best team composition for Xinyan to fully benefit from everything she can offer.Eula and Raiden work amazingly as a duo, they both easily trigger Superconduct non-stop during combat, so having two Pyro in such a team isn’t hurtful.

In this team composition, Xinyan’s role is toenforce the Pyro Resonanceandbuff Eula’s Physical damage. Teaming her up with Bennett activates the Pyro Resonance, adding25% ATK to the entire team. As for buffs, Xinyan’s shield increasesEula’s Physical damage by 15%, while her C4 decreases enemies’resistance to Physical damage by 15%.
Xinyan can also take the role of a Sub-DPS, where she can be built to inflict maximum damage every time she sets her shield up. HerC2 gives her 100% Crit Rate for her Burst, giving players the ability to build her purely on Crit Dmg. Xinyan won’t take any extra field time being a Sub-DPS, so it’s recommended to build her todeal damage rather than a shielder(although note that her Physical damage buff is only active when her shield exists).
Sub-DPS: Fischl, Xinyan
Supports: Fischl, Xinyan, Bennett
For players that own neither Eula nor Raiden Shogun, this is the cheaper version of Eula, Raiden, Bennett, and Xinyan team composition. Kaeya or Rosaria can take the role of the main DPS in this team since they havedecent Physical damage and great Cryo application. The difference between them is that it’s hard for travelers to gain Kaeya’s Constellations, while it’s easier to obtain Rosaria’s.

As for Fischl, herElectro application is one of the best inGenshin Impact. With Rosaria and Fischl’sstrong Cryo and Electro applications, they can dominate the team’s reactions and trigger Superconduct even with two Pyro in their team composition.
Sub-DPS: Raiden Shogun, Kokomi
Supports: Rosaria, Raiden Shogun, Kokomi
This team composition is not meta and can never be compared to any meta team. But it’s a viable combo to include Xinyan in. The availability of Raiden and Rosaria will ensureXinyan’s Elemental Burst is always ready to be launchedsince they are one of thebest Batteries inGenshin Impact.
As for Kokomi, she canheal the team while taking the Sub-DPS role when necessary. If she was built on Ocean-Hued Clam, Kokomi can inflict a massive amount of damage without affecting the synergy of reactions. The artifact set will alsodeal significantly higher numbersif the enemies are affected by Superconduct.
