Microsoft’s simple solution is to just turn off the auto-upload function when sensitive content is being captured. This has raised eyebrows and caused much ire in the community. A few comments have questioned why suspensions exist for recording scenes that were already present and approved to be inBaldur’s Gate 3. Not to mention, the auto-upload setting is toggled on by default, so people who are unfamiliar with these settings could receive bans by accident. Many users from the comments section have insisted that the automatic function should be off by default to avoid instances such as this.
WhileBaldur’s Gate 3’s explicit contentcan also be toggled off, players don’t have to, especially as romance options are one of the features that many players invest time in. One of the key components in the game is building the relationships between several party members and not being able to experience the bonds unfold would feel incomplete.
