Xbox Game Pass' Twitter account made a post announcing the release date for Don’t Nod’sJusant. The stylish climbing sim game from the creators ofLife is Strangeis due to release right into Game Pass on October 31, just seven days before Don’t Nod’s very ownBanishers: Ghosts of New Edenreleases in November. The post was also accompanied by a new two-minute trailer which showcased more climbing gameplay, as well as the game’s sleek UI. Interestingly,Jusantwill feature a sort of stamina bar while climbing, similar to the one made popular byThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Players will seemingly have to manage their stamina as they use a variety of equipment to climb, swing, and jump their way up the gorgeous ruin-covered mountain.

A few weeks beforeJusant’s launch on Xbox Game Pass, the previously delayedWarhammer 40,000: Darktidewill hit the service on October 4, almost two months shy of its PC anniversary. Developer Fatshark had previously cited console performance issues as a main reason for delaying the Xbox release. Fatshark had also promised to implement an RPG-like overhaul toDarktide’s class system, giving each class a new robust skill tree. While yet unconfirmed, it could be assumed that this class overhaul update will coincide withDarktide’s October 4 Xbox release, and will take hold on the PC version as well.

Since October will be filled to the brim with major AAA releases competing for the limelight likeAssassin’s Creed Mirage,Alan Wake 2,Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, andSuper MarioBros. Wonder, just to name a few, hopefullyJusantandDarktide’savailability on Game Passwill give them the boost they need to at the very least secure sufficient playercounts. Add inThe Lamplighters Leagueand Xbox’s ownForza Motorsport, and Game Pass users will be quite busy come October.
