Summary
During the new campaign quests forWorld of WarcraftPatch 10.2.7, Dark Heart, players unlock five new Void Elf-themed transmogs and a Dragonriding drake customization. Though these newWorld of Warcraftcosmetics match the Void Elf Heritage armor perfectly, characters can use these items regardless of race.
Patch 10.2.7, Dark Heart, just recently went live. ThefinalWorld of Warcraftcontent update beforeThe War Within, Dark Heart, introduces some new stories for players to enjoy, including Heritage Armor quests for Draenei and Trolls, sidequest epilogues toDragonflight, and the Hunt for the Harbinger – the main story that acts as a prologue toThe War Within.

However, during the new campaign, fans are rewarded with more than just an enjoyable story. When players complete Null and Void, the penultimate step of the questline, they automatically unlock five new Void Elf-themed weapon cosmetics, including the original bow used by Alleria Windrunner, thefirst Void Elf inWorld of Warcraft. Then, when fans finish the next and final quest, they also obtain the Void Scales customization option for their Winding Slitherdrake, which includes a deep indigo color choice for the drake’s scales, eyes, horns, and hair.

When players finish Null and Void, the interface will only announce transmog messages for the weapons their current class can use. That said, all five weapons are still unlocked for the rest of theirWorld of Warcraftcharacters regardless of raceor class, meaning fans won’t have to redo the questline multiple times to get all of these new assets – though the story can still be replayed on alts for those interested in doing so.
Void Elf fans have plenty of other reasons to be excited about Patch 10.2.7 as well. The Telogrus Rift, the Allied Race’s starting zone, got afacelift for the first time sinceWorld of Warcraft: Legionin the update. Players of both factions make their way to the otherworldly area during the quest, which is full of new NPCs and elements that show how much it has changed over the years.
The War Withinitself will be a huge expansion for fans of the Void. Xal’atath, the Harbinger of the Void, is the main antagonist – and reports on the story fromThe War Withinalpha indicate she means serious business. If Alleria and Xal’atath, the Nerubians, and the breathtakingdark crystal fromWorld of Warcraft: The War Within’s Hallowfall regionare any indication, players who enjoy these shadowy themes will be eating well in this expansion.
