The items and activities for each rotation of the Trading Post often reflect the patches, events, andholidays occurring inWorld of Warcraftin that month.

For October, that meansWorld of Warcraft’s Trading Post is getting a spooky selection of items.WoWrecently showcased the highlights from this month’s Trading Post on its official Twitter account. The most exciting of these entries is Eve’s Ghastly Rider–apermanent Halloween mountWorld of Warcraftplayers can use all year round but with an instant cast during the in-game Hallow’s End event. This flying broom is the bonus reward for the month, meaning players will get it for free simply by completing their Traveler’s Log for October.

Once the Trading Post refreshes on October 1, these items, plus othersWoWhas yet to reveal, will be available for Trader’s Tender. Here are the highlights from October’s Trading Post Catalogue inWorld of Warcraft:

The activities players can complete to earn credit towards their Traveler’s Log for October have not yet been revealed, but fans can make a few guesses as to what may be involved.World of Warcraft’s Turbulent Timeways Timewalking eventgoes on through most of the month, so there may be some activities involving it. Additionally, the Eastern Kingdoms Cup Dragonriding race event, as well as the refurbished Hallow’s End holiday, are both scheduled for this month, so players will almost certainly be able to progress the Traveler’s Log by participating in them.

October marks the ninth month since the Trading Post has opened. WhileWorld of Warcrafthas received criticism for selling Trader’s Tenderon the store, the new feature has been largely well-received. Fans will have to see ifWoWhas any special plans for the Trading Post for its one-year anniversary in a few months.
