Shadowlands, the next major expansion for Blizzard Entertainment’sWorld of Warcraft, released its first pre-patch today. However, thefull release ofShadowlandswas delayedto later in 2020 on October 1 so the developers could polish and build upon player feedback. In the meantime, fans of the popular MMO can get their hands on aWorld of Warcraftgaming chair from Secretlab.

There are two designs available now based on the Alliance and the Horde, with both the regal gold-and-blue pattern and the sinister red-and-black pattern available for Secretlab’s 2020 Omega and Titan series chairs. All versions of “the world’s first officialWorld of Warcraftseats” have varying price points based on customizable features such as upholstery, but start around $450 for the Omega series and $489 for the Titan series.

Secretlab has a number of different brand deals currently available for its lineup of gaming chairs, with the limited-editionWorld of Warcraftpatterns subject to having potential discount codes based on a contest in which interested buyers choose which side they align with. There are over 56,500 entries as of this writing. OtherSecretlab pattens include CD Projekt Red’sCyberpunk 2077, Riot Games’League of Legends, and DC Comics' iconic villain The Joker.

DespiteShadowlands' delay announcement, the marketing forWorld of Warcraftaccessories to tie in with its expansion is still going strong. An officialWorld of Warcraftedition Blue Yeti microphoneis available now, and a Humble Bundle is active until October 29 that can net fans several ebooks in what Blizzard calls its “Legends Library.”

The expansion will bring players into a new realm based on Azeroth’s afterlife so they can “investigate a conspiracy to unmake the cosmos” and bring legendary characters back to the world of the living, according toShadowlands' official description on theWorld of Warcraftwebsite. On top of new zones, features, and updates to character customization,Blizzard is adding a free player mountbased on a poll it conducted earlier this year.

WhileWorld of Warcrafthelped put Blizzard on the map, it is not the only property under its purview.World of Warcraft,Diablo,Overwatch, and more are likely to be spotlighted duringBlizzCon 2021 in February, which was recently announced to be a digital-only event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It’s possible even more tie-in merchandise will be announced during that event for those who feel a Secretlab chair is not enough.
