The Easy Way Out
Leysha could take an easy way out of this escape, trying to sign out with the guard near the exit. As she lacks an ID implant like the real SI members, this results in her getting staked through the heart and carried into the SI base. While this technically completes the level, it grants the lowest possible score for the escape and puts Leysha in a difficult position going forward.
The Steam Method
A better solution to this scenarioinvolves taking advantage of the steam leak above the guard’s head near the exit. Leysha will need to increase the pressure and use the release button nearby to injure him with a jet of steam and create a diversion. Doing this requires Leysha to turn several valves around the basement and solve a short but potentially frustrating puzzle.
First, head to the Trajax storeroom at the far end of the basement and move all the Trajax containers to the right, revealing a valve that can be turned to increase the pressure. Then duck into the safe room opposite and grab the spare valve from the shelf. Take this to the room where Berel could be found earlier on in the level.

In Berel’s room, there is a pipe missing a valve, which Leysha can attach the spare valve to. Give it a spin to increase the pressure, and then head back to the room opposite the release button, where a set of three valves can be found near the boiler.
To solve this puzzle, Leysha needs to get the needles on all three dials above these valves to the maximum possible value. In order to do this, she should turn the valves in the following order and directions:

Return to the Emergency Drain button and hit it to painfully scald the guard and escape unseen.
