One of the rarest weapons to find inVampire Survivorsis the Candybox. This weapon works differently than other weapons in that it opens a window and lets the player pick any standard weapon in the game. This allows the player to assemble a build that would otherwise be difficult to achieve.

Before players can have a chance, a very small chance, of getting this weapon as a choice upon leveling up they must first unlock the Candybox. Unlocking the Candybox is not an overly difficult process, but it does take a while to accomplish - especially for beginning players.
Unlocking The Candybox
Put simply, the playerneeds to have evolved, or merge (union), every weaponthat can evolve. This, of course, requires unlocking almost every weapon in the game. The list of every weapon, and how to unlock them is too long to list here. Many can be unlocked through normal gameplay. For example, the Garlic weapon is unlocked after the player picks up five Floor Chickens. The Lightning Ring unlocks after defeating 5,000 enemies. Both can easily be unlocked in one run.
Unlocking all the weapons is half the process, now the player needs to evolve them as well.New players should tryto unlock as many weapons as they can on a run. On the following run obtain the newly unlocked weapons and evolve them, while also trying to unlock more weapons for the next run.

The Candybox
Due to the Candybox allowing the player to pickany standard weapon, this opportunity should be used topick one of the rarer weapons, like the Cherry Bomb or La Robba. There are some things a player should keep in mind about the Candybox; most importantly, any already-owned weapons are not selectable. This isthe starting weaponof Big Trouser. This makes Big Trouser a great character for trying out a new build.The merchantwill sell the Candybox to Queen Sigma for 1,000 gold. This takes the place of the Golden Egg in the merchant’s inventory, but Sigma can’t benefit from Golden Eggs – so it’s not a big loss.
The only passive item inVampire Survivorsthat affects the Candybox is the Clover (Luck). Ahigher Luck ratingincreases the likelihood of being offered one. There is also achance of getting a Candybox when opening a chest,though this can only happen if the player’s weapons and passive items are all fully leveled, and it replaces the normally given coin bag. This can only happen once. Finding the Candybox this way allows the player to have more than six weapons.
Super Candybox II Turbo
There is an evolved form of the Candybox, called theSuper Candybox II Turbo. This is even rarer than the Candybox, will only appear if certain conditions are met, and allows the player toreplace a weapon with its evolved form. If the player doesn’t have the base (unevolved) form of a weapon, they stillget the evolved weaponfor free; even if they don’t have an open weapon slot.
Ideally, this will evolve the weapon gained from the treasure chest Candybox. A treasure chest that gives five itemswill always provide the Super Candybox II Turbo, as long as all weapons and passive items have been fully leveled. This can also only be obtained once.
