Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warfans that enjoy playing the game’s limited time playlists will be seeing the rotation updated on a new day going forward. From now on,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warplaylists will be updated on Thursdays.

Previously,Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s playlistswere changed on Tuesdays, making this swap in dates noteworthy for those who had gotten used to the schedule. While no reason was given for the change of dates, it likely makes things easier onCall of Duty’s developers, as Raven followed in Treyarch’s footsteps by movingCall of Duty: Warzone’s playlist rotation day to Thursday as well. The move may have also happened so that players have new content to play on weekends.

Regardless of why the change happened, Treyarch made the announcement on its official Twitter page, sharing the news alongside information on this week’s playlists. Fans ofthe classic map Raidare in luck, as a version of Raid 24/7 will be sticking around — only with Crossroads Strike attached. With the small-scale map being one of the most popular locations inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, putting it into a playlist with the belovedCall of Duty: Black Ops 2map should prove successful.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s Gunfightmode is changing things up a bit, as regular weapons will be replaced with special variants in the shop as the mode becomes Gunfight Blueprints on January 7. The final new playlist is perhaps the most interesting, though, as it sees the popular Fireteam Dirty Bomb mode getting a Duos variant. Allowing teams of two to try out the large-scale,Battlefield-like gameplay of Fireteam Dirty Bomb could see more players giving the most unique mode of the latestBlack Opsgame a chance.

Fans of the recently introduced Face Off mode have been given good news, as the 3v3 version of Gunfight is staying in the rotation. Thepopular Nuketown 24/7 playlistalso remains, guaranteeing fans instant access to the chaotic gameplay and easy place to grind out their weapons. The final playlist staying in the game is Prop Hunt, something that should be good news for fans of the hilarious party game. Staying in the rotation for over 3 weeks now, Prop Hunt has remained inCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warwithout temporary removal for far longer than it usually does.

Hopefully, fans ofCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warcontinue to see their favorite playlists remain active. Whenever changes do come, though, they can now be expected to arrive on Thursdays as opposed to earlier in the week.
