The second trailer forSpider-Man: No Way Homewas released earlier this week and created a lot of buzz online. Fans have been analyzing each scene since the trailer dropped and reacting to the various reveals. Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have now released a video of the three lead actors, Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon watching the trailer and sharing their live reactions.
A teaser of the reaction video was released a day before the newSpider-Man: No Way Hometrailer dropped. It was meant to create hype forthe secondSpider-Man: No Way Hometrailer, even though fans were already waiting with bated breath. Either way, the video is a fun watch, and seeing the reactions of the stars themselves is almost like validation forSpider-Manfans.

Some of the reactions are obviously exaggerated, considering the stars were a part of those scenes. But, they genuinely seem surprised to see the new trailer reveal the multiple villains, especially Green Goblin. In the firstNo Way Hometrailer, Green Goblin’s iconic pumpkin bomb is seen rolling onto a street, but fans didn’t get a glimpse of the villain. He was first spotted whenthe officialSpider-Man: No Way Homeposterwas showcased, and appears in his full glory in the second trailer.
The three actors are repeatedly seen appreciatingSpider-Man’s black suit. The suit was first spotted as a leak when a toy company released a Spider-Man action figure in the new outfit. But, the second trailer offers a closer look at it, and it almost seems like the suit has Doctor Strange’s power embedded into it. In one scene, which the stars also seem to be amazed at, Spidey is seen twisting his arm to reveal the same golden glow that Doctor Strange emanates while casting his spells.
WhenAlfred Molina’s Doc Ock shows upin the trailer, Holland is heard saying, “this is my favorite part, people are going to lose their minds.” The interesting tidbit that he does provide is that when they were filming the scene, with Doc Ock hurling cars at Spidey, Holland was just running on set. None of the surroundings were real and were most likely added in later during post-production.
It seems like it was quite a stressful experience for the three actors to watch the trailer, and in the end, they seem to be surprised by the amount of detail in it. All of them are quite excited to see fan reactions, not just for the trailer but for when the film eventually releases next month. Batalon is heard saying, “I know you guys are alive, but that was stressful.” Is that a spoiler, or just another tease for the fans? Only time will tell.
