Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas had a rough time since launch. While fans were willing to look past the early server issues because the core game was strong, issues have appeared since then. Questionable balancing changes to weapons and theClawbringer classcaused frustration, a lack of a replay option for the campaign proved detrimental to the experience, and a harsh reaction to the Season Pass was impossible to ignore.
With the core gameplay ofTiny Tina’s Wonderlandsbeing so strong, and a lot of fun systems in place, it would be great to see it bounce back and restore its reputation. While Gearbox is attempting to do this through some minor, loot-focused events, this will not be enough to change the discussion around the game. However, a second Season Pass with the type of content fans actually want to see would certainly do the trick.

Winning Back Disappointed Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Fans
The biggest thing that a second Season Pass could do is deliver on the content that fans were hoping for fromthe original Season Pass. Doing so would instantly get fans playing again, which is something that needs to happen since so many are moving back to olderBorderlandstitles likeBorderlands 2andBorderlands 3. If Gearbox wants to get some positive reactions, a more traditional style for post-launch releases would be ideal.
Instead of more experimental content like theMirrors of MysteryorBorderlands 3’s second Season Pass,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlandsis in desperate need of some traditional expansions. While another class would be a nice bonus, as well as some more cosmetics, proper expansions should be prioritized if more DLC is announced. Even just one expansion with 5-10 hours’ worth of new missions, enemies, and locations would be exciting, but it would be great to see four full expansions in a new Season Pass.
With a fantasy setting forTiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and the ability for Tina to dream up whatever creatures she would like, the sky is the limit for smaller campaigns and stories. Considering how unique theBorderlandsDLCshave been, it is easy to imagine Gearbox getting even more inventive when there are no rules. From a cyberpunk-inspired tabletop setting to different types of fantasy, plenty of expansions could be crafted for the game.
Expanding Upon Certain Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Stories
It is also worth noting thatTiny Tina’s Wonderlandshas two stories begging to be expanded upon. First is the sidequestline involving Zygaxis, with the player unleashing the demon following the completion of the mission chain. While he promises another meeting with the Fatemaker, it never occurs, leaving fans to wonder if this second encounter will occur in another game or a DLC of some kind. The Amnesiac’s arc is also begging to be expanded upon, as her story is interesting but completely disconnected from any quests.
Ultimately,Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands’ strong sales should not be wasted, as Gearbox should aim to keep the many owners of the game playing. Right now, fans have no reason to continue engaging with the game once they have grown tired of the Chaos Chamber and run through the Mirrors of Mystery a few times. While something like a True Vault Hunter mode would help, andthe Blightcaller classhas the potential to be a fun addition to the current lineup, fully new content is needed - and larger drops of content at that. As such, a whole new Season Pass full of proper expansions would be ideal, giving players new quests to enjoy, areas to explore, and mobs to battle against.
