The Walking Dead: Destiniesallows players to revisit certain iconic locations in AMC’sThe Walking Dead. The prison was one of the most memorable places in bothThe Walking DeadTV show and comic books. This unexpected location meant to keep prisoners inside ended up being the perfect place to keep out walkers, and after it was cleared, it became a home to many characters for a while.

While clearing out the place, gamers will come across a prisoner named Andrew. This guide will tell players everything they need to know about the defining choice that seals Andrew’s fate and how to handle him later on.

Defining Choice Outcomes (Andrew)

The group will come across the prison at the start of Act 3. They will begin by clearing it of walkers in Episode 11, Seed, but they’ll come across a survivor, Andrew, who will quickly change their plans. Carol makes it clear that she is against keeping Andrew around the group, given his unknown criminal background.Players must then decide if they would like to give him a second chance and allow him to stay or kick him out of the prison. Here are the outcomes of each defining choice:

How to Turn Off the Generators

Andrew is in the generator room, but to fight him, players will have to turn off the generators in order to prevent the horde from getting closer to the prison grounds. In total, gamers will have to turn off a total of eight generators during Killer Within.

While they’re in the generator room, gamers must remain crouched for as long as possible, as the air is toxic and will damage their health over time.

Players will have tomove in the direction of the blinking lights to turn off the generators. They must do this until all eight generators have been shut down. Once they’ve completed this task, they will have to fight Andrew to ensure that the group remains safe.

How to Defeat Andrew

Andrew is the second boss inThe Walking Dead: Destinies. Thankfully, he’s not as difficult to defeat as Rick Grimes or Shane Walsh.

Andrew is considerably weaker than the previous boss, so players won’t have such a hard time lowering his health. However, the generator is quite dark, so he can be quite tricky to spot. On top of this, there are some walkers scattered around the room that might appear out of nowhere, so gamers must navigate through the room carefully.

Just like theRick Grimes boss fight, walkers will attack both the player and Andrew, and this can be used to their advantage. While the walkers are on him, players have the perfect chance to take a few free hits, heal, or reposition themselves.

Players should use their melee weapon of choice to bring down Andrew, as it’s the most effective way to do this, especially if they’ve improved the weapon’s damage output by investing skill points into it. Once Andrew’s health bar is empty, he will fall to the ground and die immediately.
