Gamers can select any location to create a pond. The process of making a pond inThe Sims 4can be completed in three steps.
Define the Pond Shape
Defining the pond shape is the first step in making a pond. to select its shape,go to the Build menuand look for the “Terrain Tools” option.
Now, select the “Lower Terrain” option, which will make a cavity in the desired location of the pond. Players have the choice of choosing a round, a square, or any shape they want. The depth of the pond can be set by dragging the mouse down.
Fill the Pond
Go to the ‘Terrain’ category and select the ‘Water Tool’ option. After that, look for the option ‘Fill Water to Level.’ This will bring the water up to the level. Simmers can fill the pond up to their desired height by selecting the suitable line of depth in the ground.
Decorate the Pond
Once players have built their basic pond, they can give it a more natural look by adding flora and fauna. For this purpose, go to the Build mode and look for the section ‘Outdoor Water Decor.’ Players can find every kind of pond decoration in this tab: logs, grasses, and rocks.
Pick any water style from the six different water styles available in the game. to add more character to the pond, players can add insects and animals. Moreover, gamers who like fishing can transform their simple, pretty pond into a functional one. All they need to do is go to the ‘Outdoor Water Decor’ section and click on the ‘Fishing Allowed Sign.’ Now put this sign near the pond andfreely fish there.
