Subsequently, enthusiasts have been eager to discover the character’s future, with Grammer expressing a strong desire to reprise the role of Hank.

During an interview withThe Wrap, Grammer didn’t shy away from saying that he would love to play The Beast again and reassured fans that they would see the character again afterThe Marvelsset up his MCU return. “I hope that you will [see him again]. I can say with a certain amount of confidence that you will. I would love to,” Grammer said. Grammer explained why he’s always wanted to return as Beast. “I’ve always wanted to play him again. I see him as an extraordinary character, a real character of gravitas and importance in our culture. I’m delighted Beast is back and hope he’s back in a real way.”

Grammer, known forCheersandFrasier, entered the Marvel universe with his portrayal of Hank McCoy inX-Men:TheLastStand, released in 2006. In the film, McCoy holds a position in the U.S. Cabinet as the Secretary of Mutant Affairs. The actor had a prominent role in the movie and defeated Magneto in the film’s final fight. However, Grammer’spresence in theX-Menmoviesextended beyondThe Last Stand. He made a brief cameo in 2014’sX-Men: Days of Future Pastas a professor at Charles Xavier’s school.
