Luckily, it appears as though Massive has been able to reign in some of the problems, as it reported that more players have been able to login on PC.

Warlords of New York is looking to draw in lapsed players who have set the game aside for something else, as well as convince those that prefer the original game to check out the sequel. Launch day errors could prevent that from happening and keepThe Division 2from getting its second lease on life.
WhileThe Division 2may not be quite as popular as the original game, it has still seen consistent support from Massive Entertainment. Massive has supportedThe Division 2with various large updates since launch, withTitle Update 6being a complete re-balance of the game. Massive has shown a willingness to listen to criticism and adjustThe Division 2accordingly, and that kind of commitment could very well be enough to convince players to stick with the game long-term if they give it another chance.
The Division 2Warlords of New York expansion should be available at midnight to all players, assuming the echo errors are ironed out by then.
