Netflix’sThat ’90s Showcontinues to bank on nostalgia ahead of its premiere and the series' latest teaser includes the return of yet another beloved character from the hit sitcom, Donna’s father, Bob Pinciotti.

Although Don Stark’s return to theNetflixcomedy had been announced in December, along with practically every other member fromThat ’70s Show’s original cast, a new clip finally seesBob Pinciotti return to Point Place, Wisconsin. Stark played Donna’s father in all eight seasons ofThat ’70s Showand was always seen as one of the bigger goofball characters, much to the detriment of Red Forman.

In a shortThat ’90s Showclip uploaded by Netflix, Bob comes tosay hi to Red and Kitty, not that the latter would bother telling Red since he’s not known for his fondness of having anyone over. Bob has brought a sack of oranges straight from Florida as a gift, though Kitty finds they need some cleaning before being served. In his last appearance inThat ’70s Show, Bob bid farewell to Point Place before moving to the sunshine state to enjoy his retirement days, and it will be interesting to see what kind of relationship he has with his granddaughter Leia Forman.

Leia, played by Callie Haverda, will beThat ’90s Show’s focal point, with her grandparents and the other 5 teenagers making up the rest of the cast. Bob, andmost ofThat ’70s Show’s actors, will return as guest stars. However, judging from this snippet, expect Red to continue giving Bob a hard time like in the old days, at least for one full episode.

Excluding disgraced Danny Masterson, currently under trial over a series of rape accusations, Topher Grace, Laura Prepon, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Wilmer Valderrama, Stark, and even Tommy Chong are coming back, with Prepon taking over directing duties on a few episodes. Nonetheless, ifThat ’90s Showwants to succeed, this reboot will have to bring more to the table than pure nostalgia, as the laugh track sitcom style has failed to resonate with modern audiences for several years.

Even the biggest fans ofThat ’70s Showwill have to admit the series didn’t exactly deliver a good finale. So, in addition to giving its teenage ensemble a good coming-of-age story,That ’90s Showwill probably have to correct some of the mistakes made by its namesake predecessor.

That ’90s Showwill be available exclusively on Netflix starting August 06, 2025.
