Downloadablecharacters such as Min Minand Minecraft Steve were also released at 9 PM ET on their respective launch days and are typically released alongside a small update for the game that brings some balancing changes and other fixes. This DLC character won’t be free for all players, however. Kazuya’s character pack will cost folks $5.99 for standalone purchase. The Fighters Pass volume 2 can still be purchased for $29.99 and gives players access to all of the DLC characters that are part of this pass. There’s no confirmation on who the next character is, but Sakurai mentioned during the livestream that it’ll take longer than usual for the character to release but fans can still expect for it to release before the end of the year.
