8Hiruzen Sarutobi Was The God Of Shinobi
Hiruzen Sarutobi wasone of Konoha’s greatest known Hokage. Being trained by the likes of Hashirama and Tobirama, it is no surprise that Hiruzen was a special shinobi. He was a master of all five nature transformations and had knowledge of every single Jutsu that existed in Konohagakure’s history.
Despite being old, he could defeat Orochimaru in combat, along with the Edo Tensei of the First and the Second Hokage. Undoubtedly, his level surpassed that of an average Kage.
7Minato Namikaze Was A Generational Shinobi
Konohagakure’s Fourth Hokage, Minato was known to be a generational shinobi and held in high regard by people all over the world. He was one of the main reasons for ending the Third Great Ninja War, which shows how skilled he truly was.
Minato was known to be the fastest shinobi of his time, and in his fight against Obito Uchiha and the Nine-Tails, he proved how dangerous he truly could be. In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Minato gained access to the Yin-half of Kurama, making him even stronger.
6Hashirama Senju Was A Legendary Figure
Hashirama Senju was born during the Warring States Era and, together with Madara Uchiha, he created Konohagakure. He became the First Hokage of the village and also left his mark as one of the strongest Hokage ever, second only to Naruto Uzumaki.

Hashirama had the power to use all the nature transformations, however, his specialty was the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai. He could also use Sage Mode to power himself up further.
5Obito Uchiha Became The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki
Obito Uchiha was quite a skilled member of the Uchiha clan and his true power bloomed under Madara Uchiha’s training. His Mangekyo Sharingan made him one of the most dangerous shinobi to ever live.
During the Fourth Great Ninja War, Obito became the first Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. He also became strong enough to take on the entire Shinobi Alliance. It goes without saying that his skill was far above the level of an average Kage.
4Might Guy Could Fight Madara Uchiha
Might Guy was one of the Konohagakure’s strongest shinobi and despite only relying on Taijutsu in battle, he was a force to be reckoned with. Guy showed his true strength in the Fourth Great Ninja War whenhe took on Madara by opening all the Eight Inner Gates.
Guy’s power increased to a point where he could overwhelm Madara in battle, with his strongest attack being powerful enough to nearly kill him. At his strongest, Guy possessed far greater power than the Five Kage combined.
3Madara Uchiha Was The Perfect Ten-Tails Jinchuriki
Madara was born in the Warring States Era, just like Hashirama Senju. His skill rivaled that of the First Hokage and during the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara finally surpassed Hashirama by becoming the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails.

Unlike Obito, Madara’s version of the Ten-Tails was complete, meaning he possessed greater power. Madara also possessed both Rinnegan and reached a whole new level. Madara was already above the level of the Five Kage before becoming a Jinchuriki and this upgrade put him beyond the reach of any Kage ever.
2ââââââSasuke Uchiha Could Rival Naruto Uzumaki
Sasuke progressed together with Naruto Uzumaki and reached great heights in the Fourth Great Ninja War. Not only did he gain the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan but he also met Hagoromo Otsutsuki and awakened the Rinnegan in his left eye.Sasuke also gained access to Six Paths Yin powersand this made him strong enough to compete with Six Paths Madara Uchiha.
After Kaguya Otsutsuki’s fall, Sasuke mentioned that his Rinnegan was getting stronger and he absorbed the chakra of all the Tailed Beasts, making him the strongest at the point. The only shinobi who could defeat him was Naruto Uzumaki.
1Naruto Uzumaki Gained Six Paths Powers
Naruto Uzumaki attained tremendous power during the Fourth Great Ninja War when he met Hagoromo Otsutsuki. Thanks to already having acquired the chakra of the Tailed Beasts,Naruto could use the Six Paths Sage Mode, which made him strong enough to take on Madara in battle.
Naruto could also fight Kaguya Otsutsuki and overwhelm her using his Boil Release Kekkei Genkai. His power only kept increasing and by the end of the war, Naruto was far stronger than any Kage who ever lived.
