DuringGeoff Keighley’s annual Summer Game Fest event, Capcom released a new animated trailer showcasing Luke and Jaime playing a game. However, as they’re playing, a character walks up to them and before long, it is revealed to be none other than Terry Bogard from SNK’sFatal FuryandKing of Fightersseries. However, Terry is also joined by Mai Shiranui as another popular SNK character making the jump toStreet Fighter 6. Year two also rounds out the DLC cast withStreet Fighter 3’s Elena, as well as the return of the iconic villain M. Bison, who appears to be a bit more disheveled than fans may remember.
When Are Street FIghter 6 Year 2 Characters Releasing?
In addition to the trailer reveal, Capcom provided a bit more information as to when each of these characters would be available, including Mai and Terry, the first guest characters that the mainlineStreet Fightergames have had. It’ll be interesting to see how Bison fits into the current meta, especially sinceStreet Fighter 6received a fairly big balance patch at the start of Season 2. Not only were certain characters adjusted, but Capcom also made changes to some fighting mechanics in general like giving all characters a Drive Reversal on their wake-up recovery.
