In a message posted on Twitter, Imagine Dragons shared that it has made a new song named “Children of the Sky” for the upcoming release ofStarfield. Like thesong made forLeague of Legends, “Children of the Sky” was made explicitly forStarfield. Imagine Dragons even goes so far as to say that the song was made in collaboration with Bethesda Studios. The song is now available everywhere, including Spotify, Tidal, Apple Music, and YouTube.
As for why Imagine Dragons decided to partner with Bethesda to make a song forStarfield, the band says it’s as simple as being fans. The song announcement on Twitter says that Imagine Dragons has “been playing Bethesda Studios games for most of our lives,” and that the band was honored to collaborate on the song.Imagine Dragons sees its popularity as an opportunityto work with the video game developers that it loves.
It isn’t clear at this time whether Imagine Dragons' new song will be included inStarfielditself. Right now, it’s only being used as promotional material. Bethesda released a music video trailer forStarfieldthat features “Children of the Sky.” Given the content of the song, it would certainly be fitting to include it somewhere inStarfield.
