There were two trailers forFallen Ordershown during XO19, but the first was more of a commercial to promote the game than something that revealed more information onFallen Order. The second trailer, however, was more focused on story and gameplay, and revealed the double lightsaber at the end. There is a quick snippet of Cal throwing the double lightsaber in a mob control sort of move, but nothing else was shown about the weapon’s moveset. Players will have to learn more about it themselves whenJedi: Fallen Orderreleases.
The new trailer also reveals a bit more about the story ofFallen Order, as well as a bunch of cool moves players can do with the normal lightsaber. There are a few common mechanics missing fromFallen Order, including the ability to fast travel, but one thing the title is not lacking is the ability to look cool while dispatching foes.
WithFallen Orderso close to release, it seems a bit odd that Respawn would reveal a new weapon now. With alaunch trailer already released forFallen Ordera couple of weeks ago, this additional launch trailer seems a bit extra. However, the new weapon just might be the push someone on the fence regardingFallen Orderto purchase the title when it releases tomorrow.
While some information about this newStar Warstitle has come out, includingwhatFallen Order’sdifficulty levels mean, there hasn’t been a lot of information available about the title that Respawn hasn’t revealed themselves, other than a veryrecentFallen Orderdatamine. But once it releases tomorrow, everyone will be sure to learn more about this piece of theStar Warsuniverse.
