Summary

A gamer online has shown off their impressiveSkyrimachievement, in which they’ve managed to defeat the game’s Ebony Warrior in just a single hit. WhileSkyrimhas its fair share of bosses, this particular clip makes the Ebony Warrior look far easier to defeat than they actually are.

Generally, the Ebony Warrior is seen as one of themost powerful bosses inSkyrim. It’s an endgame encounter, only appearing after the player has hit level 80 to challenge them, looking to be sent to Sovngarde with an honorable death. The Ebony Warrior’s final encounter arrives at the Last Vigil campsite high in the mountains, although combat doesn’t begin until the player actually initiates it themselves. This opening allows players to think up some more creative ways to kill the Ebony Warrior, making the fight much easier to complete.

Redditor pawelos4 showed off the cool clip, in which they manage to sneak up behindSkyrim’s Ebony Warriorbefore killing them in one hit. As per the post’s title, the user claims that “it’s not that hard with the right preparation.” In this case, that preparation involves taking an unknown potion, which allows the player to hit the Ebony Warrior for a massive sneak attack bonus of 15x. One user in the thread was quick to point out that the player in the clip is level 1337, making them massively over-leveled for the fight, which would certainly be a big help. The clip ends with pawelos4 confirming the clip as being played on Legendary difficulty via the settings menu, which is impressive no matter the build or level.

Skyrim Ebony Warrior One-Hit Kill

Ever since the game’s release back in 2011, players have always been searching for the mostoverpoweredSkyrimbuildsthat change how it plays entirely. For some, this takes all the fun out of the game, and for others, it only amplifies it. In this particular case, if a player can put together a build that can take down even the Ebony Warrior in a single hit, then this same build could almost certainly be used to dominate throughout the rest of the game.

With a sequel toSkyrimcurrently in development, some feel thatThe Elder Scrolls 6will need its own version of the Ebony Warrior. While the character themselves may not appear directly, it’s what they represent that really matters - a final endgame boss to challenge the player’s skill one final time as their save file begins to really wrap up. With this in mind, it’s certainly not hard to imagine a world whereThe Elder Scrolls 6has its own version of the character.
