Skyrimcan be difficult early on for players looking to use magic.Magickais used to cast spells. The blue meter in the bottom left corner of the screen will deplete with every spell used. How To Make Potions
The Dragonborn canbrew potions at any Alchemy Table inSkyrim.Tables can be found in alchemy stores, jarl holds, and inns. Combine two ingredients to make a potion. All ingredients carry four distinct properties. Mixing two ingredients with the same property will brew a potion with that effect. Be careful as some ingredients have negative effects that can be mixed into the final potion.
Using it will still give the buff but may also damage the Dragonborn’s health or resistance. Ingredients can be purchased at alchemy stores. Waiting will cycle the store’s inventory if the player is searching for rarer ones. All ingredients can be found while exploring the world ofSkyrim.
Regenerate Magicka Ingredients
Dwarven Oil
This can be looted off of destroyed Dwarven Automatons. Eight guaranteed samples are found in the Mzinchaleft ruin southwest of Dawnstar. 12 more samples are located in the Kagrumez ruin south of the Temple of Miraak in the Dragonborn expansion.
Fire Salts
Fire Salts are found on defeated flame atronachs. Three guaranteed samples are located at the Mortar and Pestle alchemy shop in Dawnstar. Flame atronachs can be found when summoned by enemy conjurers.
Garlic
Garlic can be found hanging to dry in many houses and inns throughoutSkyrim.24 guaranteed samples are located at the Thalmor Embassy north of Solitude.
Jazbay Grapes
Jazbay Grapes are harvested from vinesin the Eastmarch area ofSkyrim.Seven guaranteed samples are located in the Vlindrel Hall home that can be purchased in Markarth. Search around the Steamcrag Camp south of Windhelm.
Moon Sugar
Moon Sugar is an unrefined version of the Skooma drug. Six guaranteed samples are located in the Riften Warehouse. Khajit caravans sell Moon Sugar regularly.
Salt Pile
Salt Pilescan be purchased at innsand alchemy stores. 14 guaranteed samples can be found south of Merryfair Farm.
Taproot
Taproots can be looted from Spriggan enemies. A Spriggan can be found at Peak’s Shade Tower east of Falkreath. Many Spriggans can be found on the Giant Nirnroot Island northeast of Solstheim.
