More than just a game,Skyrimhas become a major part of gaming culture, and recently some fans have been discussing their favorites quotes from the Bethesda title. Considered by many to be one of themost immersive RPGs around,The Elder Scrolls 5has managed to suck players into its slice of Tamriel for over 11 years now, and it doesn’t appear to be showing any signs of slowing down either.

Given howSkyrimis known for its memes, it seems evident that the game has managed to survive for well over a decade largely because it doesn’t end when players exit or turn off their console. It lives beyond the realm of the coding the developer has put into it or the hardware that’s running the game. Over the years, fans have stockpiled lines of dialogue and interesting moments from their own experiences. Everyone has their favorite lines that they’ve happened upon many times while playing, and a number of people have been discussing which ones stand out for them.

In a recent post over on Reddit, user Darkrain0629 simply asked whichSkyrimquote is everyone’s favorite. At the time of writing, there are over 800 replies from people showing just how many memorable sayings the game has. One of the top comments relates to the many bandits the Dragonborn encounters during their travels, with the enemies often saying, “Never should have come here.” One user mentions the creepy goodbye from Whiterun’s Belethor who often says, when the player finishes trading with him, “Do come back.”

There was even one person who, possibly sarcastically, quoted Nazeem’s infamous line: “Do you get to the Cloud District often?” Surprisingly, there isn’t a lot of mention ofSkyrim’s notorious arrow to the knee quote, with user Redditardus seemingly the only person so far who deems it one of their favorites. This could be because it’s part of an older joke, one that did the rounds not long after the game came out, so a lot of players would have moved on from it by now.

There’sstill a long time untilThe Elder Scrolls 6releases. In fact, no one even knows when Bethesda is planning to let it see the light of day. In the meantime,Skyrimfans continue to discuss the 2011 RPG. The game may have aged somewhat over the years and is still known for its roster of bugs, but it’s an important part of gaming, especially given how much people can quote it.
