8Secret Neighbor Gameplay
The main difference between the gameplay ofDead By DaylightandSecret Neighboris the fact that in theSecret Neighborthe killer is not known from the start. Only the player who plays as the neighbor knows that he is, in fact, a secret neighbor, while the rest of the players must find the keys to unlock the basement to win the game.
Killing the neighbor is not a priority, and sticking together and having items in inventory is highly advisable. The neighbor can reveal his identity by himself, or if seen using one of the three generators, that he uses to level up - since the other children cannot interact with it.
As already said at the beginning of the article, the players can play as one of the foursurvivorsor choose to be the killer. Camera mode differs by chosen character and if the player plays as a survivor, that will be from a third-person perspective, while playing as the killer will be from the first-person perspective.
In the game the killer is immortal, and the survivors can only run from him and use obstacles such as wooden pallets, windows, and itemsto stop him. When caught by the killer, the survivor is put on meathooks, and if not saved, by himself or another survivor, in two minutes he will die.
6Secret Neighbor Characters
When playing as one of the children there are six different classes to choose from: Leader that can blind the neighbor and speed up other children; Brave that can escape neighbor’s grips; Inventor that can craft items using cogwheels; Scout that can shoot neighbor with nuts; Detective that has a photo of the location of the keys; Bagger that has additional inventory slot.
Unlike the children, the neighbor doesn’t have classes but can gain unique powers by leveling up such as Bear Trap that can stun a child that gets caught or Camouflage that allows him to turn into a random household object.
Dead By Daylightis much more diverse and rich in terms of characters than theSecret Neighbor. There are 22 different survivors to choose from: Meg Thomas, Jake Perk, Nea Karlsson, Claudette Morel, and David King among others.
If the player wants to play as a killer the 20 different characters are available, some of them with pretty interesting names: The Nurse, The Hillibily, The Cannibal, The Pig, The Plague, and The Demogorgon are one of them. Thekiller can capture a survivorby hitting them twice, and every killer has also a unique secondary ability.

The game was published in 2019 so the graphics are up to date, but the game is not something that can be compared toDead By Daylightin terms of graphics. WhileDead By Daylighthas realistic graphics like most modern shooters,Secret Neighbordoesn’t.
It has cartoonish graphics that aren’t everyone’s cup of tea. Especially when keeping in mind that this is a horror game. The graphics are childlike but that doesn’t change the fact that they are quite good and really pleasant to watch.
For a game that was published back in 2017, the graphics aren’t so bad. Besides, whenplaying a multiplayer game, you are not playing it because of that, but because of gameplay. Nonetheless, a game that is easy for the eyes can make the whole experience a lot more fun and pleasant, and with the new update that came just recently and introduced new graphics that is guaranteed.
In the end, it could be said that graphics are one of the positive aspects of the game - objects, players, buildings, environment and everything else are nice to look at and are helping to create an atmosphere in which a player can enjoy playing the game.
