For the uninitiated,Pokemon Home is an appthat allowsPokemonplayers to store their captured Pokemon on the cloud for safekeeping and to potentially transfer them to other games that have Pokemon Home support.Pokemonfans have been patiently waiting forPokemon Scarlet and Violetto get Pokemon Home support since the new games launched five months ago. Now an image has appeared online that seemingly confirms the May 19 release date, though some believe the image is fake. Even though many seem to think thatPokemon Home’sScarlet and Violetupdatewill come on May 19 based on this evidence, fans should wait for an official announcement before getting too excited.

Right now,Pokemon Home supports Pokemon Bank,Pokemon GO,Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu and Let’s Go Eevee,Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl,Pokemon Legends: Arceus, andPokemon Sword and Shield. Getting Pokemon Home support forPokemon Scarlet and Violetwill mean all the main seriesPokemongames on the Switch will support the service, so it’s no wonder fans are excited to see it implemented.

It’s clear manyPokemonfans are growing frustrated with the lack of Pokemon Home support forScarlet and Violet, so it will be interesting to see if futurePokemongames are quicker about adding Home support. TheGeneration 10Pokemongameshave yet to be revealed, however, and so fans may be waiting years before they know the answer to that question.
