WhileHorizon Forbidden Westreleased as a Sony exclusive, only coming to the PS4 and PS5 when it launched back in February, PlayStation Studios games have been made available on other platforms before. It seems in recent years that Sony is putting a lot of focus on the PC market, as titles such asGod of War, Horizon Zero Dawn,andMarvel’s Spider-Manhave all been made available on Steam in 2022. In October, fans will also see thePC release of theUncharted: Legacy of Thieves CollectionandSackboy: A Big Adventure.

This means that it is highly unlikely a PC release ofHorizon Forbidden Westis out of the question. According to a leaked Sony document, which has been unveiled on DSO, it seems that the port ofHorizon Forbidden Westcould even already be in the works. The document allegedly leaked from GeForce Now, Nvidia’s video game streaming service, and contains a list of titles that are reportedly coming to the service, which implies that these titles will be PC ports. There isn’t a release date listed forHorizon Forbidden Weston PC, but it did takeHorizon Zero Dawna few years before it became available on the platform.
It is unlikely, then, that Sony will be announcing a port any time soon, if there is one. However, it shouldn’t be surprising to fans that there could be a planned release ofHorizon Forbidden Weston PC, considering the success ofHorizon Zero Dawnon Steam and the Epic Games Store. It is also good to know that those who don’t own a PS4 or PS5 may still have a chance to continue Aloy’s story. Alongside revealing a possibleHorizon Forbidden WestPC release, this leak also informed fans about a multiplayerHorizongame coming to both PC and PS5, as well as aHorizon Zero Dawnremaster.
The rumoredHorizon Zero Dawnremaster received a controversial responseonline, as many have stated that the game doesn’t necessarily need a remake, considering it only released five years ago. This seems to be an even more controversial remaster than that ofThe Last of Us, which many called unnecessary due to the original game’s graphics holding up even eight years after its 2013 release.
