After defeating the Axis Mundi Void Beast inRogue Legacy 2, players will find themselves in the Kerguelen Plateau, a snowy biome. Fans that interact with the memory fragments in this biome will ultimately discover an Insight called Matters in Red, which centers around finding Naamah’s Perch. Tracking down the relevant perch can be a bit tricky, though, and this guide is here to help players that are having trouble withRogue Legacy 2’s Matters in Red Insight.
Rogue Legacy 2: Matters in Red Insight Solution
Before players attempt to resolve the Matters in Red Insight, they should first confirm that they have obtainedAether’s Wings inRogue Legacy 2. This Heirloom is earned by completing a trial that is situated across a small body of water on the right side of Kerguelen Plateau, and it grants the ability to double jump. Here is an image that shows the body of water that players must cross to collect Aether’s Wings, and they will need to use Echo’s Boots to spin kick across its surface:

With double jumping unlocked,Rogue Legacy 2playersshould make their way to the teleporter on the first screen of the Kerguelen Plateau. There is a small hump in the ground just to the right of this teleporter, and fans should stand on it and then look up and to the right. Looking in this direction will reveal a small ledge on the side of the cliff, which players should navigate to by using a double jump and a dash.
Upon reaching the ledge, fans must now execute one more jump, continuing their journey upward and to the right. This maneuver should put theRogue Legacy 2characterslightly offscreen, and players should press the interact input (RB on a controller) when standing in that position. Entering the interact input will cause one of Naamah’s memories to appear, and the Matters in Red Insight will be resolved when the text comes to an end.

Rogue Legacy 2: Matters in Red Insight Reward
The reward for completing the Matters in Red quest is an affinity bonus that gives players 15% additional damage when fighting Estuary Naamah. While players that earn thisaffinity bonus will still need to focus on solid execution, it certainly makes the Kerguelen Plateau boss fight more manageable. Indeed, it should only be a matter of time before fans that complete the Matters in RedInsight inRogue Legacy 2have brought down Naamah and are moving onto the Stygian Study.
Rogue Legacy 2is available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
