In the latest display of player creativity, u/HeySoloSoyYo brought members of the Salamanca family fromBreaking Badto the game.
Red Dead Onlinewas developedand produced by Rockstar Games and was released in 2019.Breaking Badwas a crime drama television series that aired for five seasons between 2008 and 2013. Both theRed Dead Redemptiongame series as well asBreaking Badare known for their action, depictions of the criminal world, and violence.

The series of photos show offcreated characters inRed Dead Onlinethat perfectly match Hector, Leonel, and Marco Salamanca from the show. Leonel and Marco, known as the Cousins, are hitmen for the Juarez Cartel while Hector Salamanca is the patriarch of the family and one of the most feared characters on the show. U/HeySoloSoyYo brings these intense characters to the Wild West flawlessly. Judging from their actions on the show they would likely all fit in perfectly in the world ofRed Dead Redemption. The terrified reactions of most comments to this post indicate that any player spotting any of these looks would likely be avoided.
What this tribute shows is the impressive capabilities of the character creator inRed Dead Online. Players have brought some interestingcharacters to life already inRed Dead Onlinethrough its flexibility. For these creations, the characters chosen are pretty recognizable and theirRed DeadRedemptionversions look almost like screenshots from the show. The intimidating character choice makes these recreations look even more realistic.
Red Dead OnlineandBreaking Badare relatively similar despite being set in completely different eras. With open lobbies and a wild world, the game can be quite hostile for unsuspecting players. Meanwhile, in the world ofBreaking Bad,over 200 characters and extras die over its 5 seasons. This makes u/HeySoloSoyYo’s idea of a crossover almost a perfect match and it is interesting that other players haven’t already tried something similar.
Then againBreaking Badis a bit darker than the storyline ofRed Dead Redemption 2. The worlds are quite a long time period apart and the crimes committed are not a perfect match. Either way, however, u/HeySoloSoyYo’s characters are an impressive recreation and tribute to an iconic show.
