You can alsoparticipate in Paid Timed Research, event-themed Collection Challenges, and the event-exclusive Field Research quest. Returning to Field Research, completing a specific task can result in a Shiny Mareanie encounter, which recently debuted at the same event.

ThePokemon GOUltra Space Wonders Field Research comprises 6 tasks with a fixed reward for each task. These Field Research tasks range from catching multiple Pokemon, winning raids, and more. Completing them rewards encounters with Nidoran♀, Nidoran♂, Trubbish, Mareanie, Goomy, and Jangmo-o. All of these reward encounters are Shiny compatible, and there is also a possibility ofShiny encounters including Shiny Mareanie.

In addition to the Research quests, there are numerous Collection Challenges during the Ultra Space Wonders. One has to collect several featured Pokemon, and, doing so, rewards with multiple Mareanie encounters. It is also an excellent opportunity tofarm forPokemon GOXP.
You can also participate in different raid opportunities;Mega Pidgeot is a Mega Raid boss. Two different Ultra Beasts, Stakataka and Blacephalon, debut as 5-Star Raid bosses during thePokemon GOevent. While Stakataka appears as Raid boss in the Eastern Hemisphere, Blacephalon appears in the Western Hemisphere.
