Summary

APokemonfan online has shared their fan-made redesign of Carnivine, which improves the Grass-type Pokemon with one simple change. Carnivine has been featured as part of thePokemonfranchise ever since Generation 4, but this one design change could help it become even more popular with fans.

Pokemonfans have developed a reputation as being some of the most creative out there. They’re always producing something new based on the franchise, almost three decades after it was first released to the world. Frankly, it’s awesome to see how the fans are choosing to pay tribute to the franchise, which continues to sell in droves with each new release. OnePokemonfan recently created some awesome Pikachu-themed sneakers, showing how the franchise is often finding its way into fans' real lives, too.

Redditor IsaacTheAverage shared their improved version of Carnivine online, which makes just one simple change. It removes the eyes of Carnivine, making it seem creepier and a little more like an actual plant. Carnivine’s eyes on its regular design can definitely be considered a little goofy, so this seems like a solid change, without reinventing the entire wheel. After all, not many would put Carnivine among thebest Grass-type Pokemon designs, but maybe this fix could change that. With Carnivine having been around since Generation 4, it’s unlikely that it changes at this point, but it’s always fun to see what it could look like.

Pokemon Fan Improves Carnivine Design

Redesigning Pokemon is one way that fans choose to show their appreciation for some of their favorites. After all, just because they’re a fan doesn’t mean they don’t think the design can be improved. This often comes in a variety of ways - some, like IsaacTheAverage, make small changes, while others create entirely new forms and evolutions for existing Pokemon. Just recently, onePokemonfan even created a new evolution for Drifblim, showcasing how future games could choose to revisit older evolutionary lines.

WhilePokemonfans continue to share their appreciation for designs from Generations past, the wait goes on for official news about Generation 10. While a leak has suggested thatPokemonGeneration 10 is slated for a 2026 release, the unreliability of leaks for such a long time away makes this uncertain. Game Freak almost certainly has something in the works in this regard, but it could be some time before it is ready to speak about it. In the meantime,Pokemon Legends: Z-Ais currently set to launch in 2025 as a continuation of Generation 9, so fans still have a lot to look forward to.
