Throughout the nearly seven years sinceFinal Fantasy Brave Exviusdebuted in 2015, the popular mobile version of the iconic role-playing game franchise has seen no shortage of crossovers with many of the biggest names in gaming. Previous updates have seen the mobile title add characters and events featuring bothSquare Enix properties likeKingdom HeartsandTomb Raideras well as even collaborating with celebrities like musician Ariana Grande in 2017. Now, theFinal Fantasymobile game will welcome another JRPG legend later this week.
Final Fantasy Brave Exviushas steadily expanded its roster since the game’s launch with a wealth of characters both from throughoutFinal Fantasy’s storied history and collaborations outside the franchise. The mobile game addedFinal Fantasy 8’s Rinoa Heartilly late last yearand has previously introducedFinal Fantasystaples likeFinal Fantasy 7’s Cloud,Final Fantasy 10’s Tidus, andFinal Fantasy 13’s Lightning amongst many others. Now,Final Fantasy Brave Exvius' newest collab bringsPersona 5’s Phantom Thieves into theFinal Fantasyworld with new units, quests, and Vision cards.

Square Enix officially revealed the English version ofFinal Fantasy Brave Exviuswould be receiving a crossover event withPersona 5,followingthe Japanese version’sPersonaeventlate last year. Players will be able to obtain new exclusive collaborative units ofPersona 5’s protagonist Joker, as well as fellow Phantom Thieves Queen and thePersona 5 Royal-exclusive Violet. The event will also feature new event quests battling iconicPersona 5bosses like Shadow Kamoshida and Shadow Kaneshiro in settings based onPersona 5’s Palaces.
Brave Exviusplayers will be able to acquire Queenas a free UR unit through the game’s login bonus throughout the event period starting tomorrow, April 27, and running through May 31. Each of the three characters will sport special attacks based on some of their most recognizable techniques fromPersona 5,such as Queen’s Atomic Flare and Violet’s Sword Dance, and will feature end screens for battles replicating their All-Out Attack finishers.
Final Fantasy Brave Exvius' highly-anticipated crossover withPersona 5comes as many fans are looking to the future of theFinal Fantasyfranchise.
