While players explore the world ofNier Replicantver 1.22474487139’s map, they will eventually come across a place called the Forest of Myth. In this misty, tree-filled land, players will end up trapped in a Deathdream and will need to answer three riddles to get out.
The Forest of Myth
The NPC Popola will send players to investigate the Forest of Myth, causing them to be locked in the Deathdream. There are also some villagers locked inside of this dream as well, and players will have to answer all questions correctly to save not only the villagers, but their own lives, as well. These three riddles may be one of thethings players don’t know aboutNierReplicant, but they are super important to get right.

All Three Riddle Answers
In order to trigger the first riddle, players will have to speak to the mayor. After a lengthy conversation, the first riddle will trigger, and players will have to come up with an answer fast. The riddle is “One with it is lacking. Two with it is ideal. Three with it is dangerous. What is it?” The answer to this riddle is “A secret.” Be careful not tomake a mistake here inNieR Replicant.
The second riddle is presented to the player by a pond. The riddle is “I enter through the window, but break no glass. When night falls, I vanish. What am I?” The answer is “Sunlight,” of course just like the sunlight thatNieR Replicantplayers need to plant and grow seeds.
Next,NieR Replicantplayers will be lead to an old man in a cottage. The last riddle is: “I have four legs in the morning and two at noon, but end the night with three. What am I?” The answer to this final riddle is “A man.” Once players answer these riddles correctly, they will receive a Dark Execution Sealed Verse.
After the Riddles
After the riddle have been answered, players will have to find their way through a maze inside of a person’s dream. The correct order of directions is as follows
After this, players will come across three statues which will present another riddle of sorts. Each of the three exclaims that they are real and the other two statues are fakers. But since “Only one form is real. The others are false. The real form will always speak the truth. The false ones will only speak lies,” players can deduce by this that Beta, the second statue, is the real one. This will break the seal on the Deathdream, and players will be allowed to continue their journey through one of themost anticipated games of April 2021.
