Pokemon Snapmakes a return to a Nintendo console after the series not having an entry in about 20 years. WhileNew Pokemon Snapdoesn’t revolutionize the first-person photography gameplay that theclassic N64 titlemastered, it still has some new additions here and there that further add to the overall experience. One of these new additions comes in the form of the Lentalk feature, which allows Rita, Professor Mirror, Todd, and Phil, to request certain photos from the player.
One of these requests is called Tree-Dwelling Pokemon and comes from theplayer’s rival, Phil. The request description doesn’t give too much information as to what the player needs to take a snapshot of, but thisNew Pokemon Snapguide will surely help players out.

Tree Dwelling Pokemon Request Guide in New Pokemon Snap
The first thing that players will need to make sure of before they start this request, is that they have access toFounja Jungle’s night stagewith a research level of 2. This request can only be completed by taking a specific photo of Toucannon, and it has to be set to the second research level. Players will also need to have access to the Illumina Orbs, which are yellow for this stage.
Once the stage begins, players can ignore the opening path of the level. They need to get through Founja Jungle until they reach a point in the level that has the player traveling on top of a fallen tree branch. Press the X button to scan the surrounding area and keep sights on the trees on the left that are full of Toucannon. They will eventually spot a Toucannon that’s literally right next to aCrystabloom flower.

Players will want to press the Y button to toss orbs at the Crystaflower a few times until the surrounding Toucannon begins to fly away together. This is the exact moment that the picture needs to be taken for it to count towards the Tree-Dwelling Pokemon request from Phil.New Pokemon Snapplayers should press the A button repeatedly, just to ensure that they get thatperfect four-star photoof the Toucannon.
Now that the pictures have been taken, players must wait until the level is completed and then show off the picture to Professor Mirror. If everything has been done correctly, the request will now be marked as completed, bringing players one step closer to full completion.
