Another week and another major issue has been discovered byCall of Duty: Modern Warfareplayers. Sadly, this has been an ongoing trend since the game’s initial launch as various issues have continued tohamper the experience including map exploits, various gameplay bugs, broken spawns, XP progression problems and more. Infinity Ward has attempted to compile all of the issues on an easy to follow website to give fans an idea of what the studio is working on, but new problems continue to be discovered at an alarming rate. The latest glitch gives certain players an unfair advantage while playing Ground War.
Over on theCall of Duty: Modern Warfaresub-Reddit, fans are calling attention to a major issue while playing Ground War. On the Tavorsk District near point D, players can take shelter inside of a building with a very large round window. While taking shots at the enemy players, nothing was registering as a hit. The player then fired a few additional shots through the window at the ground but again noticed that nothing was happening. Unfortunately, this impromptu test resulted in enemies outside the window to return fire and killing the player inside.

In a strange twist, players have discovered that this window only allows bullets to pass through on one side giving players on the outside of the building a massive advantage over those attempting to take cover inside. This discovery, likely unintentional due to not being how actual windows work, is leaving fans event more upset than they already were.
Other players have indicated that the window has even prevented players from firing an RPG through the largest section as well as tank rounds. Some have even claimed that the window doesn’t actually have any glass anyway. It’s likely that grenades also would likely bounce back in and explode near the player rather than landing outside as intended. It’s certainly an odd and frustrating situation forplayers who enjoy Ground War.
While the game currently suffers from multiple issues including a completely broken spawn system on the Shipment map, this isn’t the first issue that the Ground War mode has seen. In fact, inanother odd glitch was discovereda few weeks ago by players on the Port of Verdansk map. Near Point A is a inconspicuous bush, though players who moved through it were instantly killed by headshot. Oddly enough, no enemy player was credited with the kill. Thankfully, this killer bush problem was fixed as part of the January 22nd update.
