The No.1 American hero inMy Hero Academia, Star and Stripe, also known as Cathleen Bate was a powerful woman who did everything in her power to aid Japan in the fight against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One. Even though she had not got clearance to help Japan with the battle, she still chose to rally her comrades and head out to fight the villains.
Her confidence and bravery are what made her stand out, and she believed that she could defeat the villain because she owed it to her mentor; All Might. Even though she fought bravely and sacrificed herself, she was not completely successful in stopping Tomura Shigaraki and All For One.

Strength, Power, and Resilience
Cathleen Bate was one of those people who was privileged to be saved by All Might.When she was young, her familyand her faced a dangerous situation, but when All Might who was in America at the time, came to their rescue, she could never forget him. Inspired by the hero who saved her and her family, Cathleen grew up wanting to become a superhero, a couple of years later, and she became the No.1 hero in America, and she also styled her hair and costume in a way that looked similar to All Might as a tribute to her hero.
As a powerful hero, Cathleen was always out to save others. This is seen when she takes it upon herself to aid Japan in the fight against All For One regardless of the repercussions. She also self-sacrificing if the occasion calls for it, she is not afraid of dying even if it means protecting the innocent.When she was younger and trainingto become a hero, she believed she was not strong enough to become like All Might, but she was motivated by her comrades that she was strong enough, no matter what.
The Rise And Fall of New Order
Cathleen’s quirk was known as New Order, this quirk gave her the ability to set a rule by touching a subject and saying its name before proclaiming a rule which resulted in altering its properties. She was even able to alter things such as air. The drawback of this quirk was that she could only impose two rules at a time and the targetneeded to possess a subconscious connectionto the name that Cathleen proclaims. This quirk can also be nullified if the subject has alternate identities. The quirk is also unable to make the user stronger or beyond their natural limit. This quirk requires the user to be quick in thought and to act swiftly for it to be useful.

Cathleen was able to conjure up powerful moves using her quirk. One of them being the First Bump to Earth attack where she is able to solidify air into a version of her body which is massive in size. This version of her is able to copy her actual movements, such as using the lasers from the fighter jets to shape a sword to use for her air giant self. She is also able to use her air giant self to catch missiles change their trajectory andcombine a powerful punchwith it causing a powerful explosion on the opponent.
Cathleen was not alone in her battles as she also had her comrades in the X-66 fighter jets supporting her in the air. Cathleen however, does not survive the battle with Tomura as she ends up sacrificing herself, so she could carry out her final request with her New Order quirk, causing severe harm to Tomura and All For One, draining him of his stolen quirks and preventing him from using the quirk. Her sacrifice was not in vain as the X-66 fighter jet pilots were able to recover recordings of thefight between the twoand gather further intel on Tomura such as bio-signatures and handing them over to All Might as valuable intel in the war against All For One.

In My Hero Academia, some humans have superpowers called quirks. Izuku Midoriya, nicknamed Deku, is not one of them. Deku has always idolized heroes like the number one hero, All Might, and since he was a child, he has always wanted to be a hero. However, his lack of a quirk has always held him back, but a chance encounter with All Might after discovering a classmate in danger sets Deku on the path to becoming a true hero. My Hero Academia centers around Deku and a class of heroes-in-training at UA. This school shapes young quirk users into future heroes through fake rescue missions, combat training, and other hero-tempering tasks. With young Deku inheriting the “One-For-All” quirk, he will learn what it means to be a true hero while facing off with dastardly supervillains.
