My Hero Academiahas enjoyed quite an incredible run in weekly Shonen Jump as of late and fans are caught in two minds right now in regards to the conclusion of the series. While seeing a story finish is always satisfying, especially when the final segments are handled as well as they have been inMy Hero Academia, at the same time, not having any more content forMy Hero Academiato look forward to essentially leaves a hole in the heart of the fans.
Readers have enjoyedMy Hero Academiafor a decade and will continue to do so in the coming weeks, however, now, an ending date for the series has finally been provided, which means that it will not last too long now before it finally wraps up.

My Hero Academia’s Conclusion To The Final War
The Fin War Was Ended By Izuku Midoriya In My Hero Academia
My Hero Academiaenjoyed its longest arc at the very end of the story. The Final War Saga of the series was certainly a very elaborate one, and at the same time, exciting. This war saw every major plot thread in the series being tied, and fans got to see incredible fights such as those featuring Shigaraki, and of course, even All For One. The students from UA all got their moments to shine and it was certainly a brilliant conclusion to the story. In the end, fans saw some of the most important battles, such asthose centering around the Todoroki family, finally being resolved for good. At the same time, Deku fought against Shigaraki, and of course, Bakugo ended up defeating All For One after thecollaboration of multiple Heroes, including All Might. The Final War Saga ofMy Hero Academiaconcluded with Deku making a major sacrifice ofgiving up the One For All, and then, using the sparks left behind of this Quirk to essentially end All For One for good and free the society from the greatest evil known in history.
If Spinner survived, tell him this, “Shigaraki Tomura fought until the very end to destroy” – Shigaraki Tomura
Of course, this ending was certainly very exciting, but it did leave a sour taste in the mouths of many fans. This was largely down to the fact thatShigaraki ended up dying, when fans knew that his complex storyline could have been handled much better.
Still, the vast majority of the plot lines were tackled very well and fans are, overall, satisfied with how wellMy Hero Academiadid its ending. Very often, major series have failed to nail down their endings and this has affected the overall opinion of the story among the fans. Even very popular series, such as Naruto, received some criticism for ending the series abruptly. Horikoshi, however, wanted to do things differently. He knew that rushing the end of the series after the conclusion of the war was not the way to go. Instead, he wanted to build up to it and allow the fans to relax and enjoy the final few chapters before dropping the curtains on his story.
The Epilogue Of My Hero Academia
My Hero Academia Is Currently Delivering A Conclusion To The Story
Because of Horikoshi wanting to properly explore all the remaining plot points and, at the same time, deliver an ending that wasn’t rushed, fans got an epilogue ofMy Hero Academia. The epilogue covers the events of the Post-War Arc in the story, and this is something that the author made clear long beforeMy Hero Academiaeven finished its fine luck. At Jump Festa, the author clearly mentioned wanting to expand on the final segments of the story after the war. He did not simply want to wrap up this story in a rushed manner, and the epilogue has helped even though it has just started. Fans have seenstudents go back to UA,Hero Society trying to get better with each passing day, and of course, all the major plot points, such as those surroundingthe Todoroki family, among others, being tackled properly.
There are still plenty of plot points to be resolved, and that is precisely whyMy Hero Academiais not ending this month or in the coming 2 or 3 weeks. Now, it has been officially announced by the author himself thatMy Hero Academiawill end after the next 5 chapters. This means fans only have a bit more of My Hero Academia left. However, it is still over a month’s worth of content, and if one takes into consideration the breaks, then it should be around 2 months of content.
A world without humor has no bright future. So, a world of pluses, where everyone can spend their day smiling, is our real finishing line. – Mirio Togata
After that time is up,My Hero Academiawill finally wrap up, and fans can only hope that the series will deliver a very satisfying conclusion to the fans who have been waiting for ages to see how the future of these Heroes shape up. As put by Mirio in the previous chapter, the conclusion of the war is not the end. They have not even fulfilled their dreams yet. When they build a bright future for themselves and everyone else in the Hero society, only then can they say that the job is finished.
