Tesla CEO Elon Musk asks if Tesla owners would like to playThe Witcherin their cars, prompting excited responses from fans. Tesla cars offer several video games for owners to play, including the incredibly difficultCuphead, which was added to Teslasin September 2019.
On Twitter, Musk posted a tweet asking if Tesla owners “want to playThe Witchergame on your Tesla,” also reminding them that they can watchThe WitcherTV showon Netflix using the Tesla Netflix theatre feature. There have been 601,105 votes on the poll, which offers the options of “no, I have the plague” and “yes [tosses coin]” which is a tip of the hat to the hugely popular “Toss A Coin to Your Witcher” song from the Netflix series. 85.4% of the votes say that they would like to playThe Witcherin a Tesla compared to the 14.6% of votes that say they wouldn’t like to play the game in their car.

Musk’s tweet also has several positive responses from fans andThe Witcher’s official Twitter account. The official Twitter account forThe Witchertweeted a photo ofThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s horse Roach stuck on the roof, replaced with a Tesla. Gaming YouTuber Aypierre said that it would be “great” to playThe Witcherin a Tesla but he would also like to playMinecraftin the car. One fan also asked Musk if he could makeFortniteplayable in Tesla cars.
However, not everyone is a fan of the idea and some have suggested that putting games likeThe Witchercould be dangerous. Thefirst twoWitchergames take around 100 hours to completeandThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntcan take as long as 200 hours to complete. The concern from some gamers is that Tesla drivers will want to complete the games so much that they may take their eyes off of the road. Tesla does have a feature called auto-pilot, but the cars are not fully autonomous. This means that drivers cannot just playThe Witcherand let the car drive for them. Some have said that the game could be good fun for passengers and not just the driver.
It’s unclear whether Musk is talking to CD Projekt RED about putting any ofThe Witchergames in the Teslas, or if he wants to see the results of the poll first. Until then,Cyberpunk 2077Cybertruck memeswill be the closest thing that fans get to enjoying CD Projekt RED games and Tesla together.
