Even player choice and action-led games likeMass Effect: Legendary Editionmake room for a good puzzle. While trying for achievements that take control of enemy AIs, kill opponents with melee attacks, or trap targets with Singularity fields, there’s nothing quite like a good puzzle to slow things down and challenge Shepard’s mind in addition to reflexes.

But sometimes puzzles can be just a touch too complicated. On Feros, dislodging the geth ship from the side of the building involves a lengthy maze, reading, and (everyone’s favorite subject) mathematics. Some gamers have been enticed to put down their controllers and call it a day during this sequence. Don’t settle for hitting random buttons until everything works, save a lot of time with a handy guide that will sort this all out.
Getting To The Correct Leg
Finding the correct leg can be hard, even though there are only three legs. For starters, a squadmate will comment on all three legs that the leg is indestructible, even telling Shepard to “keep looking” when finding the correct leg.

When exploring the ExoGeni facility, Shepard will come to a glimmering door that blocks progress forward. There are several exits to take. Curious minds may want to take them all for loot and experience.Players trying to collect the data for the ExoGeni worker will want to go right when facing the door.
The correct direction is left at the shimmering door. Follow it and go through a stairwell and exit into an area full of geth. Head to the opposite side of the room, using some stairs on the right and a small cutscene will play out.The camera will pan over to a location with more geth; this is where the garage puzzle is located.
Clear out the geth and now it’s time to “break” the garage door.
Solving The Puzzle
When first interfacing with the console, Shepard will get a note about the “wrong” PSI.The goal is to get the PSI between 31 and 34, which is, according to the note, strong enough to “shear through a metal I-beam.” Unfortunately, this information is not listed in the journal, so players who make a habit of skipping through notes won’t be given this number total again.

There are several buttons on the left with various quantities of PSI. A meter is in the lower lefthand corner that will measure this ideal danger zone for the PSI. The buttons, from left to right are 5, 7, 17, 11, and 13.
It’s perfectly fine to go too high or too low. Although there are no “takebacks,” simplyusing the console while out of the ideal range will reset all the buttons and take the PSI down to zero.
There are multiple solutions, but one way is toactivate the first, third, and fourth buttons. This solution (5+17+11=33) will be in the perfect range for slicing the geth leg off. Activate the console with these buttons in the green and the shimmering door will be open.
