Madden NFL 23, the next entry in the annually released American football sim, launches in just a few months. With the release date fast approaching, developer EA has revealed details regarding the various bonuses players can get for pre-ordering the game, which span a wide range depending on the edition.

The cover art forMadden NFL 23was just revealed a few days ago. Instead of featuring an actual NFL player, this year’s artwork is of the titular late John Madden himself, appearing to depict the legendary coach from his glory days with the Raiders. Thefirst officialMadden NFL 23trailerhas been recently released as well, giving fans a preview of the upcoming title in addition to revealing the release date.

Madden NFL 23pre-orders consist of several varying editions, but the ultimate version of the game is the All Madden Edition. Boasting the most pre-order bonuses, the All Madden Edition gives players three-day early access (which comes with an exclusive set of challenges) before the official launch, as well as 4,600 Madden Points. Other perks include All Madden Gear and a Madden Strategy Item, both of which can be used in Ultimate Team mode. Those who pre-order by July 22 will also receive a limited-time All-Madden Team elite player, one of four 87 OVR players with an in-game performance-enhancing ability.

The last major perk fromMadden NFL 23’s All Madden Edition is the free upgrade to the PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X/S version, alleviating the issue fans had withMadden 22’s next-gen version locked behind Ultimate Editions. Players have several other pre-order options forMadden NFL 23as well.
