6Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker (26.5 Hours)
TheMetal Gear Solidseries is filled with lengthy titles that have convoluted and hard-to-follow plotlines. However, these espionage thrillers are a blast to play in their own right, and it’s easy to see why so many people love these games to death. A great example of this isMetal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, which ended up pulling out all the stops in a bid todeliver an authenticMetal Gearexperienceon the PlayStation Portable.
The story of this title is as riveting as ever, withPeace Walker’s unique method of telling a story looking pretty artistic while also saving a bunch of space in the process. The comic-book cutscenes have aged pretty well, and the game contains many iconic scenes in theMetal Gear Solidfranchise that fans owe it to themselves to check out!

While the gameplay mechanics weren’t all that deep, players who were willing to forgiveBook of Memoriesfor its missteps would find themselves enjoying a fairly solid combination of RPG mechanics and survival horror. It may be deeply flawed, but the game has a charm of its own that many people find hard to resist.
4Castlevania Advance Collection (30 Hours)
Castlevaniais a series that hasn’t seen a modern title for quite some time, with theLords of Shadowgames feeling more like generic third-person action games that ape the combat ofShadow of the Colossusinstead of feeling like a proper Metroidvania. Thankfully,Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nighthas filled this vacuum somewhat…but players still miss the classic era of theCastlevaniagames.
There were many titles released for the Game Boy Advance that were a blast to play through in their own right, and this trilogy has been ported over to modern systems for fans to enjoy what are arguablythe bestCastlevaniagames followingSymphony of the Night. Players can spend hours across all three titles as they fight tough bosses and explore a massive castle that is filled to the brim with hidden areas and valuable secrets.

With a remaster of the first two games coming sooner than later, fans can check out the other games in the series and see why this JRPG is so beloved despite not being relevant in modern times. While the game dragged quite a bit and departed a bit too much from the core ethos of the series,Suikoden 3is still fun to play in its own right despite these minor flaws.
2Suikoden 5 (69 Hours)
Suikoden 5is a game that served as a step in the right direction after fans felt that the past two games had deviated from what made the series so special in the first place. Featuring updated graphics, an epic story, and a massive roster of characters,Suikoden 5is an excellent game thatmany people consider to be the second-best title in the series, which is pretty hefty praise indeed!
Playing as the Prince of Falena and trying to prevent the kingdom from plunging into political turmoil makes for a great time. The story is engrossing without resorting to boring cliches, and the game contains many references to the first twoSuikodengames that are bound to entertain audiences to no end.

1Metal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience (90.5 Hours)
Metal Gear Solid 5isone of the greatest open-world games ever made, and it’s a shame that Kojima was booted out of the company before he could realize his true vision for the game. The Phantom Painwas a blast to play and made up for the earlier disappointing release ofGround Zeroesthat preceded this installment.
However, playing both games is necessary to get the full picture, and fans can certainly enjoy the same withMetal Gear Solid 5: The Definitive Experience. It contains both games along with all the DLC, making for the best way to play through one of the greatest stealth games ever made.
