Tomorrow is May 4th, a sort of bastion for fans ofStar Warswho have taken on the date’s audible resemblance to the iconic phrase “may the force be with you” similarly to how some consider March 14th “pi day” because of the mathematical concept’s opening numbers, 3.14. There have been plenty ofStar Warsgames since the first movie came out in the late 70s, such as therecent hitStar Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, and Limited Run Games will be bringing back two niche entries to celebrate Jul 11, 2025.
Limited Run Games is a service started in 2015 that aims to give digital-only games a physical release for collectors and to stave off fear of a “prophesied all-digital future” according to its website. Recently the service announced ahigh-qualityStreets of Rage 4collector’s editionbundle, and for May the 4th it will be releasing 1,000 special PlayStation 4 “blister packs” for both 2002’sStar Wars: Racer RevengeandStar Wars: Bounty Hunter.

While these new blister packs are the primary focus of Limited Run Games’Star WarsDay celebration, the service also has every otherStar Warsgame it offers listed together on its website. Some likeStar Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academyare available to pre-order as of this writing, while others like premium boxed editions ofRacer RevengeandBounty Hunterare already sold out.
Though the current landscape ofStar Wars-related video games is rich thanks to titles like the aforementionedJedi: Fallen Order, a larger collection of older, classic games are also making a big comeback. Recently the Steam port of 2004’sStar Wars: Battlefrontbrought back online multiplayer serversthrough an update that also added new language options.
However, there is also conversely a slowing down of content in more recent, ongoing titles. DICE announced thefinal content update for 2017’sStar Wars Battlefront 2last week, so fans in the mood for moreStar Warscontent should watch out for Limited Run Games tomorrow.
