Jurassic World Evolution 2is a park builder. Like in most park builders, the player not only has to make a good environment for their attractions, the dinosaurs, but they also have to worry abouttheir version ofJurassic Worldmaintaining appeal and turning a profit.
Like in the movies,Jurassic World Evolution 2’sdinosaurs aren’t just static tourist attractions. They’re living creatures, and players need to spend resources tokeep their park visitors safe and their dinosaurs happy.

It’s possible for players to have too many dinosaurs. It can be expensive to keep them all well fed and tended to, or difficult to keep some ofJurassic World Evolution 2’s dinosaurs well enclosed in a crowded park. If that’s the case, the player cansell a dinosaurto ease their operation costs and get a return on investment.
Selling Dinosaurs in Jurassic World Evolution 2
Selling dinosaurs is not an intuitive process. There’s no ever-present sell button that the player can access at any time. A few pre-conditions need to be met first.
First, the player needs to have an Asset Containment Unit ready, which meansbuilding an ACU center. They should be able to build one very early on, but they can be upgraded viaJurassic World Evolution 2’s research system. The more it’s upgraded, the easier the next part of the process will be.
Next, the player needs toselect an ACU helicopter and give it a task to tranquilize the dinosaur they wish to sell. It should take two to three tranquilizer darts to knock a large dinosaur out. The tranquilizer gun’s reload speed and accuracy can improve with ACU building upgrades.
Once again, the player returns to the ACU building, this time selecting a transport team and pointing them to the freshly tranquilized dinosaur. One of the options available after clicking the dinosaur should be a “Sell” button.
Selling is a permanent action, and this is the last chance for the player to back out from the offer. The game will show the going price for the dinosaur, and ask the player if they want to go through with it. They should ensure they’re not selling their star attraction before agreeing.
If the player doesn’t want to worry about profits and selling, they can stick toJurassic World Evolution 2’s sandbox mode, where money isn’t an issue. That being said, the steps listed above are still useful to learn, since tranquilizing dinosaurs has multiple uses in-game.
Jurassic World Evolution 2is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
