Summary
Jujutsu Kaisenis one of the most popular series emerging from Shōnen Jump in recent years. The story is set in a world centered around the concept of cursed energy, negative energy emitted from humans. Gojo Satoru is commonly referred to as the strongest of all the jujutsu sorcerers in the anime. He is a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High and served asthe first mentor figurefor the series’ protagonist Yuji Itadori. He hails from one of the three great sorcerer families, and his presence alone served to keep Japan from being overrun by cursed spirits. As the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, Gojo is extremely strong, possessing a long list of powerful abilities. This list will explore the strongest of those abilities and how they are employed by the enigmatic sorcerer.

13Curtain
Due to the existence of curses and the threat they pose to the general public, Jujutsu sorcerers devised a way to confine them within a specific area. This is done through the use of different barrier techniques established to restrict the influence of curses on the surrounding region. They come in different forms, one of which is the curtain, an ability that creates a spherical domain within which people or curses can be restrained.
Gojo employed this technique duringa mission with Yutaand Maki, stating that he made it easy to undo from the inside while also being able to draw out curses. It is deployed using a simple incantation, but not all sorcerers are capable of it.
12New Shadow Style: Simple Domain
In the battle against Sukuna, Gojo finds himself on the ropes multiple times, having to expend considerably more effort than he is used to. One thing he has trouble dealing with in particular is Sukuna’s domain expansion, Malevolent Shrine. This domain allows the King of Curses to slash anything and everything he wants within his domain nonstop, posing a serious threat to the white-haired jujutsu sorcerer.

A temporary solution he applies to this problem is the New Shadow Style: Simple Domain. This creates an area around its user within which the guaranteed hit of a domain cannot reach them. It is not without its flaws, however, as against a powerful opponent like Sukuna, it can still be bypassed given some time. It is also stated that Gojo isn’t capable of teaching this technique to others, as he is a natural-born genius and finds it difficult to get his ideas across to others.
11Falling Blossom Emotion
After having his simple domain negated, in order to reduce the damage from Sukuna’s attacks, Gojo employed Falling Blossom Emotion. This ability is naturally supposed to repel all attacks which come into contact with its user, however, due to thestrength of Sukuna’s domain, Gojo still suffered some damage. It is an anti-domain technique, and only the three big families are meant to know of its existence. Gojo learned how to perform it while he was still a kid but didn’t use it after mastering his domain.
In the battle with Sukuna, this countermeasure allows him to fend off fatal cuts from Malevolent Shrine. It also can’t be negated or stripped away and is applied directly to its user’s body.
10Teleportation
As he possesses the ability to manipulate space to some degree, Gojo ingeniously uses his powers to facilitate teleportation. Though it is not exactly explained as to how he does it, it can be assumed that by altering the fabric of space in certain locations, Gojo can easily teleport long distances. In contrast, he can do shorter distances without prior preparation.
He has been seen using this ability on multiple occasions, by himself and also with others. He teleported Yuji with him to the venue where he was fighting the special grade cursed spirit Jogo, and also Toge and Panda to Jujutsu High so they could prevent thedeaths of Yutaand Maki.
9Incredible Strength
Along with being incredibly skilled in martial arts, Gojo has also displayed impressive physical strength. He has been able to overpower special grade spirits like Jogo and Hanami in close-quarters combat, even making light work of a Sukuna-possessed Yuji at the beginning of the series. Putting it into context, he overwhelmed arguably three of the strongest cursed spirits in the series.
Though it is unclear as to whetherhe uses cursed energyto amplify the power of his attacks, it is apparent that there is barely anyone capable of matching him directly when it comes to strength.
8Black Flash
Black flash is an ability other jujutsu sorcerers are capable of using as well. However, it demands a tremendous amount of concentration and, so far, has only been performed four consecutive times in the seriesby Yuji Itadoriand Kento Nanami.

It involves a concentration of cursed energy that must be applied within an extremely short window of 0.000001 seconds after a physical strike. This causes the user’s cursed energy to flash black, significantly amplifying the strength of their attack. Though Gojo’s brain is capable of processing information at superhuman levels, even he isn’t capable of pulling it off like it’s second nature.
7Reversed Cursed Technique
This rare ability allows a sorcerer to combinetwo sources of negative cursed energy, resulting in the creation of positive energy. It is an extremely complicated technique, and its main purpose lies in the field of healing and recovery.
Gojo, however, makes use of it in multiple ways. Though he is seen using it to preserve the pristine state of his brain and recover from life-threatening injuries, he also brought to light its offensive capabilities. For example, when he uses it in conjunction with the limitless, he creates the destructive Cursed Technique Reversal: Red.
6Limitless
Limitless is an ability passed down from previous generations of the Gojo Family. It grants its user the ability to manipulate space and serves as the foundation for Gojo’smost powerful techniques.
In its neutral state, it is referred to as infinity. In simple terms, it establishes an unbreachable barrier between Gojo and an opposing entity. The barrier is a distortion of space that seemingly freezes anything that wishes to pass through it. However, in reality, the object is going through space at an infinitely slow speed.
5Six Eyes
The Six Eyesallow its user’s brain to process information at breakneck speeds. It amplifies the power of the Limitless and facilitates advanced abilities that otherwise couldn’t be performed without it. It is also a feature passed down from the older generation, with Gojo being the first sorcerer in the last hundred years to possess both the Six Eyes and the Limitless.
Through the use of the Six Eyes, Gojo has learned to keep his infinity ability active even when he’s not conscious of it. Meaning he’s impervious to multiple types of forces that wish to harm him at any time of day. Using the Six Eyes, he has also learned to reduce the consumption of cursed energy whenever he performs a cursed technique, so that he can never run out of cursed energy.
4Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue
Using the Limitless and amplifying it along with the cursed energy concentrated in a specific space, Gojo uses Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue to create a phenomenon much similar to that of a black hole. If used directly on an individual, it causes their bodies to implode from the inside out.
Though it has not been shown to possess the sheer power of a black hole, it still has tremendous destructive power. It is capable of decimating massive structures and large environments by sucking in everything around it. This, however, is the maxed power version of this ability, as it can also be used on a smaller scale to attract objects in a certain vicinity.
