However, the trailer that stole the show at E3 is back in an interesting way. A fan has upscaled the trailer to 8K resolution, and the results are quite impressive.
Starfield’s E3 2021 trailerwas incredibly detailed, leaving fans coming back for more to look for Easter eggs, secrets, and hints of what is to come. The official trailer is uploaded online with a max resolution of 4K. However, a YouTuber upscaled the video to 8K instead, making theStarfieldtrailer all the more visually impressive.

The graphical fidelity ofStarfieldmay be one of its strengths, but fans of Bethesda games know that the titles often have a laundry list of pros (and perhaps some cons) that go beyond simple technical prowess. Those strengths include countless side quests, an open world for exploration, things to collect, player choice, mods, and more. And the idea of opening that type of gameplay up in the endless universe of space is something that is truly thrilling for so many fans of Bethesda. On top of that, ifStarfieldcan meet gameplay with graphics–in the open galaxy while exploring throughout the final frontier–then Xbox and Bethesda could have the hit on its hands that they are hoping for while taking advantage of next-gen technology.
