You can unlock cosmetics in Killer Klowns From Outer Space bycompleting challenges.These challenges task you with completing various tasks related to the objectives, abilities, and weapons of the Humans and Klowns. Further, they will be broken down by the different Human Archetypes and Klown Types, making it worth trying each instead of locking yourself into one type. To see how to unlock a specific cosmetic, hover over it in the Customize menu to see which challenge book it is from.
Then, head to the Challenges section on the main menu screen, where you will see challenge books for both Humans and Klowns. Open a book to see which challenges you can complete and what cosmetics you can unlock.You need to be at a specific level to unlock some challenge books and gain access to their challenges to unlock the content.
Unlocking cosmetics inKiller Klowns From Outer Spaceis a flexible process, and often, you can finish more than one challenge in one match. For instance, you can earn eyeshadow for your human characters by completing the ‘Kill 5 lackeys’ challenge from the Human Basics challenge book. At the same time, you can unlock the punk top by completing the ‘Hit 5 Klown heads with thrown bricks’ challenge from the Punk’s Revenge challenge book.
One trick you can use to unlock cosmetics quickly is playing a private match solo or with friends to complete specific challenges for the content you want to unlock. However, you must have one real-life human playing as a Klown, as there are no bot Klowns in the game. Conversely, if you are strictly going for Klown cosmetics, you can play with seven human bots to complete challenges that involvecommitting Klowntalitieson humans, ormaking your lackeys carry cocoonsto the generators.
Once you unlock cosmetics inKiller Klowns From Outer Space, you can equip all cosmetics from one side (Human vs Klown) to any character model in the game to make some zany combinations that are fit for the movie. For instance, you can put the police hat from the Heroic (cop) archetype on the Tough (Biker Gang) archetype. However, you cannot equip cosmetics for the two special human character models, Mike Tobacco and Debbie Stone,the movie’s protagonists. Nor can you do so for the two Klown special models, Bibbo and Fryzo, two Klown antagonists.
