How to Get Chroniums in Break the Loop
InBreak the Loop, Chroniums are used to determine the timeline ofrandom roguelike eventsin which your team will be playing. As crafting your timeline is one of the core mechanics ofBreak the Loop, building up a stash of Chroniums is very important, as this may enable you to select events that make the difference between succeeding or failing a run and having to start over.
InBreak the Loop, players can acquire Chroniums during an ongoing run. When in active combat, you will notice a green hourglass at the top of the screen, counting down. If you manage tocomplete the combat before the timer reaches zero,then you will gain some Chroniums during the rewards screen. While this does mean that you’ll need to die and initiate a few runs repetitively before you start accumulating this currency,the gameplay loop is rather engaging, so this shouldn’t feel like too much of a hassle.
Luckily, building up a supply of Chroniums is relatively simple to do - all you’ll need is a bit of basic knowledge and adjustment to help you run combat encounters as smoothly as possible. This mostly involves being able tostrategize and think ahead in battleso that each turn moves consistently, rather than spending time thinking on the spot and winding down the clock. Your choice of team composition may also play into combat efficiency, as you can create different strategies through each character’s skills.
In addition to gaining Chroniums upon timely completion of regular battles,boss fightsinBreak the Looptend to increase the stakes quite significantly. During a boss fight encounter, you will have two decisions - to play it safe for the normal allocated amount of time, and100 Chroniums upon successful completion, or to take a high-risk, rewards fight and complete the battle in less time fordouble Chroniums (200). As long as you can navigate these battles quite efficiently, then you should be able to use this method in repetition to farm for Chroniums quite quickly.
