Grand Theft Auto Onlinecontinues to top sales chartsever since its initial launch as the online multiplayer component ofGrand Theft Auto 5back when the title first released in 2013, and with every subsequent re-release of the game. Its rich player base has grown over the years, and with several additions to game, such as the acclaimed heist scenarios, players are sure to be finding new ways to engage with the title.

The most recent example comes from Reddit user SnAk3EyE5, who posted in the r/gtaonline subreddit their newest creation: a replication of Johnny Silverhand, the cyborg ghost protagonist of CD Projekt Red’s 2020 titleCyberpunk 2077. The user’s post currently sits with 97% upvote, with many comments praising the accurate depiction of the character using the robust character creator withinGTA Online.
Silverhand is one of the many definitive characters fromCyberpunk’suniverse, debuting in the originalCyberpunktabletop RPG, and being a major player throughout the series’ universe. The character’s inclusion inCyberpunk 2077was met with even greater acclaim due to himbeing played by Keanu ReevesofThe MatrixandJohn Wickfame.
At first glance, this is an incredible recreation of the character. Though it is missing elements of Silverhand’s robotics, such as his metal arm, the attention to detail in the character’s clothing, hair, and face are all on point, as well as the placement of the character and his vehicle in a spot ofGTA Online’smap that resemblesCyberpunk 2077’ssetting of Night City. With how robustmod creation is inGTA Online, some of those aspects may be able to be added to the character in the future.
While players wait for CD Project Red to deliver on the promised update support toCyberpunk 2077, fans may find solace that the game is living on in other titles likeGTA Online. And withhow ridiculousGTA Onlinehas becomeover the years, it’s only a matter of time until a new outrageous player mod catches out attention.
Grand Theft Auto Onlineis now available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Enhanced versions for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are slated for release in March 2022.
