All of this is in spite of the fact that Sony delistedGhost of Tsushimain 180 countries and regionsahead of its release. Had that not transpired, the samurai ARPG would have ostensibly beatenGod of Warby an even wider margin of concurrent players. Although no official sales figures have been disclosed as of yet, an aggregate of four third-party estimates from Gamalytic, PlayTracker, SteamSpy, and VG Insights suggests thatGhost of Tsushimamay have already sold approximately 272,000 copies on Steam.

While Sony has yet to reveal the next step in its PC publishing push, one recent report from a prominent leaker suggested thatGod of War Ragnarokwill be the next PlayStation game to reach Steam. Taking that claim at face value, the purported port might be announced at the next PlayStation Showcase, which Sony recently hinted will happen in the second half of May 2024. Other thanGod of WarRagnarok, the Japanese gaming giant is still sitting on a number of popular titles that are yet to reach PC gamers, including theDemon’s Soulsremake,Bloodborne, andMarvel’s Spider-Man 2.
