A newGenshin Impactleak has revealed more information about a new character that will make an appearance in the upcoming version 3.7. HoYoverse keeps updating the game’s pool of playable characters with Dehya and Mika being the most recent additions back in the previous update.
The recently held Special Program event forGenshin Impact3.6 has already confirmed that the second banner cycle of the ongoing update will introduce two new Dendro characters named Baizhu and Kaveh. It’s very common for characters to appear as NPCs a couple of months before they join the playable roster.

A new post on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddit has revealed more details about a new character that could appear during the 3.7 quest line. According to the post, the character’s name is Charlotte, and she will play a significant role in the next couple of months. She is one of the10Genshin Impactcharacters that have been leakeda couple of months away which led many players to believe that Charlotte could be the first playable unit from the Hydro nation. The name Charlotte could be just a placeholder and her actual name will be revealed once update 3.7 gets closer to release.
Players seem very excited to meet a new Fontaine character, especially considering the game has confirmed that the onlynew roster addition inGenshin Impact3.7will be the Dendro user Kirara. Some comments have pointed out that it’s unlikely that the two characters will interact with each other in the main storyline since Kirara belongs to the Inazuma region. However, the fact that she works for a popular delivery service in the Electro nation could mean that she travels all over the world of Teyvat.
Some fans think that the two upcoming updates will probably include a lot of filler content as HoYoverse prepares for 4.0 which will finallyintroduce the long-awaited Fontaine region. Credible leakers have revealed that it will be located north of the two recently added Sumeru expansions and west of the Liyue nation.
A couple of weeks ago, someGenshin Impactplayers noticed an interesting detailin an artifact piece description, which mentions that the Geo region has another port besides Liyue Harbor. Many fans expect this port to be located in the western part of the region and serve as a connection between Fontaine and Liyue. After all, Fontaine is known as the Hydro nation which means that it will probably be filled with lakes, rivers, and waterfalls.
Genshin Impactis available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5, and a Switch port is also in development.
